Could I lay to rest what is the difference between a democracy and a republic? (6:39)
A true democracy is where the people directly participate in their government. However, the United States has too many people for that, so they host an election, thus being a republic.

What is going on with the Electoral College system right now? (10:30)
The Electoral College is a system created so that each state has a voice. The problem today is that sometimes it is skewed per particular party as someone could only win a state by 51% and they’d win the entire state.

What does campaign money mean? (30:40)
Campaigns need money to get their message out. In order to travel to different to different areas, speaking at different places, and advertising requires money.

Why don’t people trust the media? (42:10)
The media was pushing an agenda to fight the Vietnam War back in the 1960s and 1970s and it rubbed the American people the wrong way.

What happened to fervent Nixon supporters after his scandals? (44:10)
Nixon blamed the liberal media until his death for the reason that he had to step down from office. He followers believed that well.

What’s with the rise of influencers on the Republican side? (50:30)
In the 1960’s the Republican party was having a difficult time getting people to vote for them so they formed coalitions to influence people to vote for them. They created a narrative of this little man being against this big government which became appealing to people.
