In this chat, HCR answered the following questions: 1) relationship between Catholic church and the Republican party? (in her response, she discussed Kent State, the mid-term election of 1970 in which Nixon did a pivot to the right, and how abortion became a wedge issue)? 2) what is the possibility of another constitutional convention in the foreseeable future? 3) Would there be significant changes if a fully Democratic Congress came to power in 2021 in curtailing currently seen abuses of power? 4) How has the judicial branch changed the landscape in the last 100 years, and is there any future recourse to address current judicial appointments?
